  • Cancellation Policy

    Cancellation Policy

    We understand that plans can change.

    Cancellations or changes made within the notice period, or failure to attend your reservation for 5 or more guests, will incur a fee of $25 per guest.

    To avoid this charge, we kindly ask for:
    – At least 48 hours’ notice for groups of 5 or more

  • Reservations

    Ruma welcomes guests Wednesday to Sunday for lunch and dinner, with Sundays starting early from 10am for a relaxed brunch service.

    Bookings of 8 or more guests are required to dine on our set menu, priced at $84 or $120 per person.

    Please note that each reservation has a designated dining time specific to your booking. Credit card details are required at the time of reservation. A 10% surcharge applies on Sundays.

    If you are attending with young children (including those in prams), please include them in your total guest count and add all relevant details to your booking.

  • Weather

    Weather Policy

    Ruma is an open-air rooftop venue designed to embrace the elements.

    In the event of unfavourable or unsafe weather conditions, Ruma reserves the right to amend, relocate, or cancel reservations at our discretion to ensure the safety and comfort of our guests and team.

    Should a booking be affected, our team will be in contact to discuss available options, including rescheduling where possible.

  • SUNDAY LONG LUNCH

    Available on Sunday’s only.

    Bookings available 11am – 1pm
    Two hours from the start of your reservation
    Whole table participation required

    Guests are expected to arrive promptly to maximize their allocated time.

    Reservations: Reservations are highly recommended to guarantee seating availability. Walk-in guests will be accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability.

    Identification: Guests must be of legal drinking age and be able to provide valid identification upon request. We reserve the right to refuse service to any individual without proper identification.

    Beverage Service: Beverages will be served responsibly, and guests are expected to drink responsibly. We reserve the right to refuse service to any guest who appears intoxicated or disrupts the enjoyment of other patrons.

    Sharing: Bottomless items are intended for individual consumption and cannot be shared with other guests who have not purchased the bottomless option.

  • Cake T&C's

    Cakeage Fee Definition

    A cakeage fee is a charge applied for bringing an outside cake into our establishment. This fee covers the cost of serving, handling, and cleaning.

    Fee Amount

    The cakeage fee is $5 per person.

    Notification and Agreement

    Customers must inform the restaurant at least 24 hours in advance if they wish to bring an outside cake.

    By bringing an outside cake, the customer agrees to pay the applicable cakeage fee.

  • Wheelchair Accessible

    Yes, our venue is wheelchair accessible via lift access next to our stair entrance.

  • Surcharge

    Sundays have a 10% surcharge & Public Holidays have a 15% surcharge.

  • Dresscode

    Smart casual dress code. Costumes are strictly prohibited.

  • Table Allocation

    Whilst we do always do our best to accommodate requests, we cannot guarantee specific seats/ tables.

  • Decorations

    Unfortunately we do not allow guests to bring their own decorations into the venue as we are located on a rooftop and open to all types of weather. Balloons, confetti and costumes are strictly prohibited.
